I was born and raised in Bledsoe County, graduating High School in 1976. At an early age, I was introduced to working with the public. My father owned and operated a small service station. (NOTE: "There was a Gas War in the late '60's. Gas at our pump was 39 cents per gallon. There were Long Lines for hours as we had Full Service back then.")
In the late 60's and early 70's, my Mom owned and operated a Drive-In Restaurant called Martha's Drive Inn . My sister, Debbie and I were Car-Hops. Mom and my brother, Rick, were the cooking staff. We stayed open until 1:00 AM on weekends and stayed very busy! (NOTE: At that time, you could buy a Hamburger Steak Dinner with Fries, Salad, Rolls, a Drink and free re-fills for $1.25. It's no wonder that we were always so busy!)
I've always worked with the public as I owned and operated a Convenience Store for ten years. At the same time, I owned & operated a Hair Salon called BJ's California Concept. After running both places for a few years, I vowed that I would never do that again.
My Mom encouraged me to get into the Real Estate Business in the early '90's. I started out with one desk and a phone in my Mom's old Drive Inn building. I continued to cut hair until late into the night. After three years of having two occupations, I went into Real Estate Full-time. I've been an Agent/Broker since 1997 and have been through the HIGHS and LOWS that the Real Estate Business provides. I've made many new friends, some of whom will last a lifetime. I've found that the most rewarding thing about this business is the people that I've met and have been able to help with their Real Estate needs, if only in a small way. "I LOVE THIS BUSINESS!"
I owe my success not only in Real Estate, but in life in general, to my Mom. She taught me that in life ~ there is more pleasure in helping others that have not been as fortunate as you. In the Real Estate Business, I've been able to assist some folks along the way. With this being said, I carry on my Mother's Dream and Legacy of helping others along Life's Pathway. My Mother, Martha Brown, passed away in 2008. It is because of her that I'm in the Real Estate Business. She made me ther person that I am today. Born in neighboring Bledsoe County, Stacey lives in the Cold Springs Community about 20 miles from Crossville. He has a very interesting past, career wise -- including over 10 years experience with the Dept. of Corrections. In 1991 he was elected Circuit Court Clerk of Bledsoe County and later traveled the southeast as a furniture manufacturer representative. All these experiences have helped to shape his personality and people who have dealt with him know that he knows how to give customer service. The job that helped push Stacey toward the real estate business was his position as Project Manager for White Properties in St. George Island, Florida, which was a gated community. After moving back to East Tennessee, Stacey started purchasing property as an investment, buying distressed homes that he remodeled and sold. He also developed a subdivision, built and sold spec homes, and built commercial properties. He now owns rental homes and commercial buildings.

Life long resident of Bledsoe County, Eddie graduated from Bledsoe County High School in 1984. He married Missy Watson in 1986 and they have one son, Tim, who is a senior at B.C.H.S. this year! Eddie took his real estate classes through Tennessee Technology Center in Crossville, and started working with Brown Realty in 1999. After residing in South Florida for most of my life, I am glad to have moved to Crossville, Tennessee. During my time in South Florida, I was an International Cargo Agent for 20+ years and operated my own Import/Export company for 10+ years. These endeavors gave me plenty of experience to expedite documentation in a precise and timely manner, negotiate contracts, be flexible under any circumstances and interact with people on a daily basis.
As I am writing this, we are approaching Christmas rapidly and I am looking out the window seeing snow flurries and hoping for a white Christmas. I am enjoying the four seasons very much, although, the climate here is relatively mild and one can play golf on our 11 championship golf courses for most of the year. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, the hunters are in heaven, the antique shops are to die for and the property taxes are extremely low.

Born and raised north of Knoxville in Whitley County, Kentucky, I am #9 of 10 children in a coal mining family. I Graduated High School from Pleasant View Kentucky High and in 1956, I went north to find a job. In 1959 I decided to join the Navy in order to get Electronics training.
Upon discharge, I was employed with Solar Turbines Inc. in San Diego: first as a Tech Rep, then as District Service Manager. I was stationed in several places, both with the Military and civilian jobs such as Eglin AFB, Edwards AFB, and Osan AFB, Korea. In Canada, I helped build 4 Turbine powered Destroyers for their Navy and lived in Montreal, Quebec, and Novi Scotia. I was assigned as District Manager in Anchorage AK, Houston TX, Jakarta, Indonesia, and Vera Cruise, Mexico.
Retired in1960 from Vera Cruise Mexico and moved to Crossville, in 2000. I obtained my Real Estate license in 2001, my Brokers license in 2004 and opened my own company in 2005. I am a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI).
